My Monaro (Pontiac GTO) just wasn't getting any use, so I advertised it and the first looker left $500 deposit and said he'll be back on Wednsday with the rest.
I'll be sad to see it go as I really love it but without use it was money sitting under a cover and taking up room in the garage.
I've had it for 3 years and got my money back so it's a good deal for me and the purchaser is happy, so win win.

:y13: 13.7L / 100km My double Cab did that and it was just too much to keep it going so I sold it as well. I do miss it I must admit SAD

Try 15L / 100km, 13.7 is the advertised number.
Actually worse than 15 if you stamp it a bit.
Forget the petrol it's a fun car but not for penny pinchers.

Out new TDI Golf is still tight and is averaging 7L / 100km calculated, the trip computer said 6.5.

I hope it doesn't end up being a regret in the future Kev
I'm thinking the monaros may end up going away like so many other great muscle cars of the past SAD

You're right Harry but at my age I don't have another 25 years to sit about watching it go up.
Well I hope I actually have 25 plus years but I'll be too old to worry about stuff like that.
As I said "had it for 3 years and got my money back so it's a good deal" and that's good enough. I have a good arrangement with Sharron regarding $, the bottom line is she's cool if I want another silly car or bike or whatever, I'm the one in the family who is slightly conservative.

sorry to here that otherwise.... but as you say you cant keep everything ! and it dosn't do for stuff to stand .

plus the extra dosh allways comes in handy.:y15:

Bingo!

We're doing OK in Australia but the world picture isn't looking great, just now I think money looks better than a 5.7ltr car sitting under covers.

you said it ! i bought the duc for £830 from an asking price of £1250 there is no way you would drop that much unless you need the money!

( even my buyer skills are not that good )

Those TDI Golfs are nice cars the one guy at work had one and I was really impressed with it

Beautiful car Kev. A modern day classic. Pass anything on the road except a petrol station.

Good thing is, the space it takes up in your garage will fit 3 motorbikes. If you buy well you could have some change.:y2:
