I wonder what they would do if a visiting club from another country was doing a ride around the areas. I mean they would have no idea about something like this being in place in the USA
 
The visitors might know. There are CoC's in various countries all over the world: Canada, Belgium; and I think there is one in Australia. I do not know about SA. Most MC's are well aware of protocol in places they desire to visit. If they were completely naive and wore their colors, they would be asked to take the colors off. If they comply, that would be that. If they did not comply, things could get very ugly quickly.
 
Thanks, Gareth. I had to get educated when I became PGR State Captain and dealt with the patch issue. Having been a rider for over 50 years, I was well aware of 1%'ers; but I was not familiar with CoC's and that protocol.

I stopped reading Bike SA some time back as it got just to cluttered with ads. 90% of the mag are now just ads with not much of substance left
