Hi Folks,

I had a leaking m8 connector on my petrol tank. I used keystiger's guide for removing the tank and all went well, removed the corroded fitting, replaced with new one, reassembled bike.
All hoses and electrical connections checked and double-checked, fuel replaced.

Only problem is that now the bike wont start!

Bike was running fine before I interfered with it, now it turns over but wont start.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is?

It's a 2005 tiger 955i

Thank you!

Rule of thumb:

When you mess with something that worked, causing it to not work.....you probably missed something! :)

Don't feel bad....I pushed my T140 mostly uphill about 3 miles because I forgot that motorcycles need fuel in their fuel tanks to function properly! Before I realized what the problem was, I posted here about my bike simply sputtering to a stop the night before.

Glad you got it sorted. There is a mess of tubes/lines and wires and things running around up under the tank. Easy to knock one thing lose while trying to maneuver around another. Good your back on the road. :y2:
