Why on Earth would a dark tinted helmet visor be illegal? It sure beats being blinded by the Sun and crashing or running over some pedestrian doesn't it?

I can understand why police want untinted glass in cars at least at the driver's window since they wouldn't know if someone was pointing a gun at them

1. The reason tinted visors are illegal , wait for it : The police do not think you have enough brains to change it at night. Sunglasses under your visor any time of day is acceptable . You explain the difference no one here can ???
Tinted windows on cars are not illegal though I doubt if any one changes them come dusk !

Just to rub salt in the wounds, Police bikers have dispensation to wear dark visors for safety reasons. Lunatics or blatant anti biker regime ?

The other side of the bay! That bridge is scary.. :y114: I can spit out the door and hit Silver Spring..
Do you have twisty roads on that side of the bay? :silent:

You aren't kidding about the Bay Bridge! It isn't bad when all the lanes are going the same direction, and one lane isn't closed because of a gaping hole caused by a chicken truck, and the wind isn't blowing.

Yes, we do have some twisty roads on this side of the bay. They are called backroads, you know, the roads that lead away from Rt50. We just don't have any hills or mountain roads. :y18:

Got to be kidding me right....hahahahahahahaha By ya profile it looks like you have a Thruxton which you were probably riding when you heard it. Obviously dont know about the old Cafe racers from back in the day. Please don't tell me they called the 76 Bonny that....if they did then all i can say is WOW!!!!!!!!

Ride safe mate

I had a poseur announce to his crowd when I pulled up on my Bonnie that the Bonnie was rice burner. I corrected him in front of his peers and they laughed at him. He got quite upset with me! :y114:

Funny I cannot think of one time when I had anything bad said about my bike when I have pulled up. The only time was the one guys told me I had done a great restoration job on my Triumph. As far as the Harley guys go the ones around here are mostly from the old school back in the 70’s so they know the score with Triumph. Most of the times when I park near them or amongst them they all have great things to say about my bike and we normally have a good chat about both brands.

As I said before I cannot afford to buy a Harley this side of the pond the prices is just too far out there for me. I think if I did have that type of cash I may then look into a Rocket in any event :y18:
