I didn't come back to bikes until 1992 so missed all of that era - and am only learning about them since then.
I still have some very good memories of my Honda K1 750 Four, it really was a nice bike at the time.
The Honda CB750 killed the British bike industry, the Kawasaki Z900 ( 
) came along and buried it.

That Z900 was a popular bike at the time.
