Both are bad, but to answer your question, losing touch with a good friend near you is the worst, the fact that they are just at arms reach and cant share your happiness, sorrow, joy and have that intimate human interaction that we need so much.

Q: what is happiness?

Slinging my leg over my Thunderbird, and heading out on some great roads we have here in Lincolnshire, or even better heading towards Germany all in the sunny weather of course. Sharing this experience with like minded friends, taking lots of pictures, and looking back on the days ride or holiday and feeling totally recharged inside.
