Shelby came roaring up next to me a couple of weeks ago. Luckily he caught a red light so I could get level with him. Asked him just to rev the engine a bit while waiting for the light to change - and he kindly obliged! And he had THE biggest grin on his face revving the engine. Wow it sounded amazing!!!!!

AJ: Was there, in fact, an XK-160? I knew the 120, 140 and 150; then the C-Type, D-Type and XK-SS; then the E-Type. I don't remember a 160. Was this just a typo?

Only rode the early ones when we were selling them. It's all compared with what else is about at the time. Back then the flat four 1000 was a huge and heavy bike but the same bike today is mid size for a modern tourer, time marches on. I have seen a vid of a bloke riding a new G.Wing on the Dragon and doing it with style.
