The words we northern riders hate - along with " Where did the time go?"
For me it means I have about six weeks left in my riding season depending on the weather. By the end of October it's usually too cool for enjoyable riding. Others carry on well into November, but the chances of decent riding weather are too few to make it worth it. I like to prep the bikes for winter while it's still fairly mild.
I didn't ride anywhere special this year. Just around the province either with the bike club, a couple of friends or alone in the early morning in search of breakfast.
It's going to be a mild and sunny weekend so I'm torn between painting touch ups and the open road.
I need to get going so maybe I can do both.
See ya later.

We are getting that little bit of cool right now along with much lower humidity. In stread of the lower 90's, it will be in the mid 80's. Great riding weather for a change!

Well, you know how that goes. You paint you front steps and the rest of th verandah and trim looks bad in comparison so spent most of the day with a paint brush.
But that was yesterday. Heading out to meet the guys for the regular Sunday morning breakfast gathering and then a ride on a coastal road.

We're heading for the coastal areas today as well, Rocky. This will be my first long ride in a while.
Household duties took priority yesterday. Staining/painting, stacking wood.

Did a Nice ride down to St Andrews. Great day, if a little hot @ 28C.
Little cooler down there @ 26C. Little over 300 kms.
Will try to post some pics up later in the ride report thread.

Took the tiger out for a prowl Friday , really enjoying the Saddlemen seat . Saturday was Thruxton day and the Superbike bars are worthwhile change as well . Which bike is the best ? The one I’m riding at the time , they both goble pavement with ease . Golf tomorrow am and will get out the R. In the afternoon. I am finding retirement tough , the bikes can be very understanding friends. Will be riding in the cool weather as long as possible. .... Brooke

'Cause we have Winter, unlike some "others" on here:ice2:
I resemble that remark!! BGRIN
