The Handbuilt Show, which takes place during MotoGP weekend in Austin, Texas, is simply one of the best motorcycles shows on earth. Says the crew behind the show:

“As our collective existence slips further into digital abstraction, we at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show believe something has been lost and it is time to revive the culture of physical craftsmanship. Although in today’s modern mass-produced world few young people are taught how to do physical work or are encouraged to embrace a trade, there remains a universal attraction to the beauty that can only be formed by human hands.”

The fifth year of The Handbuilt Show — hosted by Revival Cycles and BMW Motorrad USA — proved to be the biggest and best yet. The venue moved from the Fair Market in East Austin to the larger Austin American Statesman right downtown. With three times the space, the show was able to host 150 hand-built motorcycles and more than 30,000 fans.

Below, we list some of our favorite builds from the show. Photos courtesy of Revival Cycles and Alan Stulberg (@revivalan), designer/founder and chief motonerd of Revival Cycles.
