The weather was so hasty here yesterday that I was forced to do this.

And it's so bad today I had to run errands on Jessica this morning. Hopefully this afternoon I'll be forced to do more of what I did yesterday.

BGRIN yes Q, You're next to get the blame.
I noticed that you've had snow flurries already in northern NB :y25:

I woke up to 3C (37F) this morning and it won't be getting any better as the days pass.
One hardy fellow rode his bike 16km (10 miles) to Sunday breakfast this morning.
My helmet is off to him for his tenacity, but that would be no fun at all!
Yesterday I winterized the two vintage bikes (removed batteries, gas and oil) and put them in the basement for the winter.
Over the next week or so the others will follow.

Yes we had a few snow flurries fall here today :( , No accumulation.
Only reached a balmy 3 Celsius here today and not looking real great for the long range. 10-12 Celsius for a daytime high for the next week. It was brisk out.
Had to help a co worker change the timing belt on his son's car(well I did it), as that's how he gets back and forth to university. As long as you kept moving it wasn't too bad, but stand around for a short time and you felt the chill setting in.
Started the T'bird up today. It was reluctant to start. Not easy turning over that much compression with molasses as lubricant and a cold battery.

The forum is pretty quiet so I'll just blather on a bit.
I woke up at 6:30 AM which is my usual time and I could hear my furnace running.
I had turned the thermostat down quite low as I wouldn't need any heat until the morning so I was a bit surprised to hear the furnace.
I checked the outside thermometer and it was 1C (34F) with a coating of white frost on everything!!!

The morning forecast was for fairly mild temps in the PM so I waited until after lunch to take the T100 for a warm-up-the-oil run; change the oil and filter and run the bike inside for the season.
I moved the bikes around in the garage so the T100 was at the front ready to roll.
But before I got dressed for the ride I took a Triumph oil filter down of the shelf, sorted what tools I would need, and reached for the Motul 4L oil jug. It was empty except for a couple of mm's on the bottom!!
I checked all my oil supplies and had no 15-50W Motul oil for the T100 :y20:
I was certain I had a 4L jug, but alas it was not to be. I had plenty of 20-50W that I use in the vintage bikes, so I suppose I could have used that, but I like the Motul in the T100.
I made an oil run to two bike dealers which took over an hour, but they had no 15-50W of any kind so I gave up and came home.
By then it was getting late in the PM and too late to take a run to the Triumph dealer who I knew stocked plenty of it - and that would be a two hour round trip.
I'll take a run tomorrow and buy two jugs if the promised rain for tonight is over.
There is still plenty of time to winterize the bikes so I'm not in a panic - just disappointed that I didn't get in a short run on a fairly mild day.
Well......14C (57F) is a mild day here for this time of year BGRIN

Only got to about 10C here but the rain made it very bone chillin' damp. Felt a lot colder than it was. Brrrrrrrrrrr:ice2:

I also bought my filter on my last trip to the Triumph dealer but no oil. Have to go out locally soon and find some Amsoil. That won't be cheap.

We never have an end, good riding weather all year round

However next week is going to be a cooker, going to the bush so the heat factor is going to be in the hundreds

Area now in Fahrenheit @ 08h40 in the morning

Next week in Celsius :y26: gonna wish for snow lol

Dang, Sprocket, that's hot. I would melt in that heat.

Sun was out today and the mercury got up to a balmy 10 Celsius so I dressed warmly(read; sweater, long johns and full leathers) and went for a hour long ride around the local highways and big city of Fredericton. Was nice to get out, especially when you don't know when the last ride is going to be.
