Been riding for 60 years and thought I might go back to a British bike. I had a 1969 Norton Commando around 1970, but haven't been on one since. I'm going to start looking around to see what I can find. I hope to be able to get some good advice here and maybe give some as well.

Welcome Bob to TT from Eastern Canada.
Lots of good info here to help you decide your next ride. If you need some info, just ask and hopefully we can answer and questions you may have.
Lots of older riders on here to assist with your decision.

Welcome from sunny North Texas. It would help if you provided a little info as to what type of bike you are looking for, i.e. cruiser, adventure, street, dual sport, sport bike, vintage, etc. The field is pretty wide open when it comes to what Triumph has to offer.

I can give a short answer here but I thought the site said to be specific in the correct forum.
So my focus I think is on a vintage 500/650 Triumph or God forbid a BSA lol. I haven't had a kick start bike in over 50 years so I'm not sure how that will work unless there is some kit out there to convert to electric start (one of the questions I was going to ask). I have a number of modern bikes I just thought it might be cool to go back in time.

You should start a thread in the Meriden section of the forum where more members will see it.
Say what you're looking for and ask for suggestions. I'm sure you will get some replies.
This is just a welcome thread so not everyone looks at them.
I just did that as you have suggested.
