Holy cow! Replacing the wiring harness on my 72 T150. YIKES! Thought I'd be clever, disconnected one connection at a time, and attached the new one. Right up until I got to the coils and the Boyer ignition. Seems I have a bunch of connections not used! From what I can see, they went to the condenser pack, the zener diode and the rectifier. I'm also reinstalling the flashers, and flasher unit. The guy(s) that had the bike before I did just cut, taped and generally whacked wires all over the place.
About the only things that did work were the high beams and the horn. The bike does run well, but I want it to be as solid as I can make it. It's just too much fun on the back roads around here, and I need the reliability.
I've found a couple of different wiring diagrams, but since wiring isn't my strong suit, I'm stumbling along here. Does anyone have a really good wiring diagram for a 1972 T150? And I'd love to get my hands on a diagram for a 3 cylinder Boyer too.
Or, if you're close to NJ (Atlantic City) and want to "lend a hand,". I'll buy lunch and beers!!
Thanks in advance!!
