Hello all,

Looking to replace the stock horn on my 2017 T120 with something louder. Was looking at the Denali Soundbomb (compact or split) or, preferably, the Screaming Banshee Shockwave. However I can't find any info on any forum as to whether either will fit on a T120 (whether at the location of the stock horn or somewhere else on the bike). I could go with one of the minis, but prefer the louder air horn. If anyone has any info on whether (and how/where) the Soundbomb or the Shockwave will fit a T120, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks Greyfell! I'm starting to think there are no posts out there because the airhorns just don't fit on the T120. I may just go with a Soundbomb Mini or PIAA or FIAMM Freeway Blaster or somesuch. l

I went with a low cost air horn (black). Mounted the compressor under the righthand side cover (airline under tank) and the horns on the forks (vertical pointed down) behind the headlight and inside the mount arms. Sorry I don't have a picture and bike is in winter storage. The picture is of my Ducati which has the same horns, mounted outboard of the fork legs. The black horns disappear on the T120 next to the black forks. It was a tight fit to get the horns in that location

You're right about a tight fit, but it seems it was worth it.

I put the 110dB horn I mentioned above on my new-to-me Thunderbird a couple weeks ago, and it also required a little outside-the-box thinking, too.

I went with the Denali SoundBomb Mini for my Thruxton R. Is not that great, there are louder ones with the exact same profile for less money, like the ones Wolo 310-2T which is half price.

I fitted a mini Denali sound bomb to my Triumph tiger 1200 Really loud easy to fit . The split system is larger and a bigger job and is a larger 2 part unit . .
