Up to now the motorcycle luggage system, built for durability and water resistance, has been available with bike specific carriers only. The durable and waterproof DAKAR product line of panniers now sports a design version that can be mounted on nearly all current side carrier systems. The side bags consist of sturdy 1680 D ballistic nylon, reinforced with ABS material. Included in delivery is a set of waterproof inner bags, complete with roll-top closure, protecting the luggage from rain, dirt and splash water. As a result the bags are suited for nearly any environment - from the prolonged backcountry trip to daily city shopping. The panniers offer a capacity of 32 liters each, which amounts to a total storage space of 64 liters. Also included in delivery are fastening straps for easy and secure mounting on most side carries. For vehicles without a side carrier, the DAKAR pannier bags also are available in sets with dedicated carrier systems, designed for different motorcycle types.
