Feel for ya Keys ! ..... we had that last year .... it just rained and rained for months barely stringing 2 dry days together .... this year has been a bloody cold long winter with lots of snow .... the summer up to now has been nearly the driest hottest on record with hose pipe bans and the earth just scorched ... not to mention the massive ground fires all over the country with the emergency services streched to the limit i take my hat of to them :Salute2:

Well the weather has made me look stupid !!!! ( well i was stupid to begin with ) we've had massive thunder storms and torrential rain all weekend .....Oh well we do need it

WE have had (and are having) rains HEAVY --- daily-- my yard (I havent mowed either Shane) is 1-3" stadning water over 80% of the acre --- its NUTS -- muddy sloppy nasty smelly -- and there is ZERO end in sight for the next week or more------- great
Send some of that rain this way. What we don't use we'll send to California.

Id LOVE to send it to you--- my front and back yards are 1-3" standing water--- I have to wear flip flops to get in the truck then put shoes and socks on ......and its raining now--- AND its predicted 60%+ chances ALLLLLL weeek. long

Keys, we could use a "little" bit of that rain. Been very dry up here this summer. Calling for some tonight and tomorrow. We shall see if the weather network is lying, again.

Been 28- 30 c for a month now. Need rain badly for the Wells and of course the farms.Great for tourism of course , we have about 70 cruise ships here per summer and they are loving it , but a little to hot for an afternoon walk around the golf course. Must admit to an after supper jaunt last night while not properly attired and I was not the only one in that mode. Staying on the coastal trails helps a bit but the water temperature is up now so not the relief you would get from the true North Atlantic. The Grandson was to a hockey practice last week so this bad spell won’t last much longer.

Same here down on the coast. So hot and sticky, but at least the evenings are somewhat cool as are the nights for sleeping.
Haven't been on a bike in a couple of weeks. Too hot and sticky to get suited up for a ride even in the evening.
I see riders out in lots of bare skin and I shudder at what might happen in a mishap.

5 weeks of drought and heat just ended during the final day of the club junior championships. 31c / 40 humidex was the highest we got to , plenty mild for Islanders. Old Home Week next week , forecast mid twenties and less humid so time to head out perhaps 3 or 4 days in the Gaspe peninsula. Great pavement , scenery and hopefully a day of wood roads ,the north end of the Appalachian trail actually.
Pix. Refreshments at hockey camp, grandson about to hit hit his second on the 18 th while playing partner gives thanks . Caddy, Grandson and I in a dryer, well better place.
