Well summer may finally have arrived. We hit an outdoor heat index of 128 or 53 this afternoon with temp of 104 and humidity at 48%.

My crew was working inside the turbine building with a temperature of 137 or 58 but I don't have the humidity reading in that area. If we used the outdoor reading it puts them working in a heat index of 283 degrees Fahrenheit or 139 Celsius. I trying to figure out why they were putting on jackets when they came back to my Control Room. It wasn't freezing but it was a little cold at 70F or 23C but semi-comfortable in my heavy cotton long sleeve shirt.

We're getting a lot of unusual heat, fog and humidity.
It saps you and you don't feel like doing anything, but those of you in really hots places would keel over laughing if you were here in this "moderate" climate BGRIN

I guess your winter weather of late is better than the cold since you don't have house furnaces like we do.
I was up early and did some baking before it got too hot, but even then it was pretty sticky in the kitchen - even with the windows wide open and the fans on.
I won't get into what I was (not) wearing ROTFL
No relief until stormy weather comes on Thursday.

Its been 25c to 30c plus here for nearly 2 months now..... its bloody wearing thin lets have some nice 18c to 20c please ! ..... but on the up side ive not cut any grass for 2 weeks :Champ:

We do suffer when we get those cold fronts moving through. For us there really is no point in getting all geared up for the cold weather. So we just hang in and take it when it is that cold.

As I was leaving for work this afternoon.

That's a drop since Kim and I went to look at some new houses in a new subdivision just down the road. We saw this at 1840 yesterday.

FACE I couldn't handle that.
Even though my windows were open all night it was 27C(81F) inside the house at 6:30 this morning.
That's not very hot to many, but to us it's hot - and the sun isn't up yet!

WE have had (and are having) rains HEAVY --- daily-- my yard (I havent mowed either Shane) is 1-3" stadning water over 80% of the acre --- its NUTS -- muddy sloppy nasty smelly -- and there is ZERO end in sight for the next week or more------- great
