Ordered and payed for the Ducati 3 weeks ago and its still not ready ! There still waiting for parts.
So I got a bit vocal !!!!!! And cancelled it , the sales man apologiesed for the delay and asked if there was anything else they had in stock I would be interested in.
And there is !!! It's just come in and it's a triumph :D it's a 2003 one owner and only 9500 miles from new and very very tidy,
So you are just going to have to wait and see what it is bringing me back in to fold :p

Good for you, my mate bought a brand new 900 Superlite a few years ago, and it blew up within 6 weeks, and was told it would take 6 months to get the parts to fix it. My personal opinion of Ducati is I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, but I totally respect that a lot of people love them. But you have a Triumph and that's brilliant I for one will look forward to seeing what you've bought. What ever it is I'm sure it's a great bike.

Another factor, when I had my shoulder surgery after dropping the bloody heavy BMW R1100 RT,I couldn't ride a solo, what to do,but a 3 wheeled scooter,500 Gilera, funky looking mad max machine, loved it but Certificate of Conformity from Piaggio took months to arrive.
Move on till I was fitter and stronger,craved a lightweight fun bike,Guzzi Breva 750 fitted the bill,UK bought,cracking ,only 178 kgs,love it,OK let's register in France.
Here we are over a year later and still not registered, paid €62 to Piaggio group for a CofC.
Biggest bunch of idiots I have ever come across,ah yes they own Gilera too I forgot.
DVLA got the Vin no. Of the V5 wrong, then Piaggio got it wrong with a different number.
I could give up but I am persistent.I WILL get it registered somewhere one day!!
Fitted some Triumph megas and wow does it sound good. Will be a summer Sunday ride,or when wet and Bonnie is wherever I am not.
Italians make bikes with passion, but no backup.

Ye I love my ducs but back up is non existent and there not the most reliable bike , my first one was new and it broke down 4 times I the first month, but it rode awesome!
But I love my triumphs and there bulletproof.

Oh Shane, please no,my god sons mum was about 25 stone at the time and wanted a ped to go to work, she asked me to find her something,of course a 50 with that weight was gonna be struggling, yes you guessed it.I found a Honda Melody.
She must have rode it up hill and down dale in Devon for about 10 years,I was amazed by its resilience. Not once did it go wrong.
Don't make 'em like that anymore, thank heavens!!
