Got fed up of letting idiots at the tyre bay work on my bike and then having to redo everything myself when I got home, so I made a wheel balancer myself.

Not painted or chromed (lol!), but it works....

I only do rotation weighting Devo. Then stick the weight near the middle. Seems to be okay. I redo them every couple of thousand - you won't believe how quickly they run out.
For example the rear wheel has only done two thousand km's and the weight stayed the same but moved about 160 degrees from the initial place.
The front wheel was spot on still after the same amount of mileage.

Projects like this make me wish I hadn't transferred out of the plant to the corporate office, no shop here for me to use. But after a few minutes those thoughts pass and I realize I could do it at the house but I bought one last year so no need in another.

Great job, looks as good as my store bought one.
