All week we were being warned to prepare for a serious and major snow storm on Saturday into Sunday. Every day we were updated on the progress of the storm across the lower USA and being shown a possible track right over our province.
Then, by Wednesday, weather conditions and the jet stream began to change and we were told it might be 50/50 and miss us altogether.
This was confirmed late Thursday and now the storm will track well to the south thanks to a huge high pressure area pushing the storm away from our shores and it will likely not even brush us.
PHEW!!!! We dodged a bullet!!
I wasn't that worried about it as I have my trusty snow blower and I have nowhere I have to go, but still, it's nice to not have to deal with a major snow storm
To all our American TT friends in the southeast US and along the coast, take care and be safe
