HI im new to this but hope you can help?
I decided to service my speed triple yesterday after a ride out...
plugged in my dealer tool to read ECU for faults and reset the service indicator (NO faults and fully reset all ok)
I then removed the fuel tank air box ect.. changed the plugs for NGK iridium and replaced the air filter and box, tried to start the bike to warm the oil ready fro draining but the bike wouldn't start just cranked over with a message on the dashboard say TC inoperative please consult handbook..
After several attempts i decided to go back to the beginning and refit my old spark plugs. the bike then started???? but with the EML light on i read the ECU 2 faults found???
P1607 ECU ride by wire stopping due to control A
P2111 Throttle Actuator motor stuck open
This bike has never had an issue before and i was hoping somebody may have had a similar issue, have i knocked something disturbed a wiring plug im at a total loss never had an issue like this before...
I cleared the ECU and left the bike to tick over the EML has not yet come back on and the only issue its showing me now is the engine is reving to high...
Thanks

I think you've maybe stretched a cable or something ?.. I dont think it was the plugs I think that is a coincidence , it may be a dirty or corroded plug somewhere or dirt or dust built up on the stepper motor or Tps sensor .

Thanks for your reply
I've pulled apart as many plugs as I could see and found no issues with corrosion I will go a bit deeper with the wiring plugs where is the stepper motor and how would I clean it
Regards
Richard

If it worked again after switching back plugs, there's a clue perhaps. One of the cables, connections, caps, etc., that were disturbed?

Update
Spent all afternoon on replaced plugs with the ones that would fire all good now, the only issue I'm left with is a high idle speed 3-3.5 revs still no management light and bike runs fine any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
