If u TREAT him nicely, he says u are TOO IN LOVE, moving too fast;
If u Don't, he says u are PROUD .

If u DRESS NICELY, he says u are trying to LURE other men;
If u DON?T, he says u are RURAL.

If u ARGUE with him, he says u are STUBBORN, too manly;
If u keep QUIET, he says u have no BRAINS, a walkover .

If u are SMARTER than him, you?re a SHOW-OFF;
If he's SMARTER than u, he is GREAT.

If u don't LOVE him, he tries to POSSESS u;
If u LOVE him, He takes you FOR GRANTED. (very true huh?)

If u don't MAKE LOVE to him, he says u DON?T LOVE him;
If u DO, he says u are CHEAP.

If u tell him your PROBLEMS , he says u are TROUBLE;
If u DON?T, he says u don't TRUST him.

If u SCOLD at him, u are treating him like a CHILD;
If he SCOLDS at u, it?s because he CARES for u.

If u BREAK your promise, u cannot be TRUSTED;
If he BREAKS his, it is circumstances beyond his CONTROL.

If u SMOKE, u are BAD girl;
If he SMOKES, he is GENTLEMAN.

If u do WELL in your career, it's LUCK ;
If he does WELL, it?s definitely BRAINS.

If u HURT him, u are CRUEL;
If he HURTS you, you are too SENSITIVE !!

I think this may describe a self adsorbed, narcissist, selfish individual. :wink:

I think it's time for you to start socialising in a different circle. If this is indicative of what you've experienced, then it's time for you to change the scenary. You will only be treated as you allow yourself to be treated, so don't empower anyone to treat you in a way that you don't want to be treated.

Candy: Firstly, its good to hear from you again.

Secondly, I am certain that, as a man, I have never behaved in such fashion. My wife of 30 years will attest to that. The same goes for the men (and women) that I call my friends and associates. Additionally, I have it on Sound Authority that none of those statements are true in a right relationship. Those statements are all negative and describe hopeless situations. I can assure you that nothing great has ever been accomplished by a negative, hopeless person. There are, however, many accounts of positive thinking, hopeful people who have turned losing situations into winners.

If these statements are the mantra for your friends, you have two options for a chance at a happy productive life and a right relationship: Change your friends(people) or change your friends(attitudes).

Here in South Florida we have a summertime weather event called a thunderstorm. (I know, every place has 'em). When its going on, it is really really bad and scary. Everybody knows, however, that its only gonna last for a limited time and bright sunshine will follow. We do not fear the storm so greatly that we fail to enjoy the sunshine.
