Beautiful! I’ve been on roads like those in Finland, probably the very ones. Any of those from eastern Finland, Punkaharju perhaps?
Bravo! I still bet it looks much nicer in Texas....
The 3. photo is actually from Punkaharju.
The 1. photo (Lietveden road, Puumala) and the 6. photos (Vilkaharju, Sulkava) are also from Eastern Finland.
As you see, I have two times visited in Eastern Finland (Imatra), watching this:
2022 Finn rider won it (Erno Kostamo). He will be participating Isle of Man race (today's superbikes) first Finn rider ever this year. '
Let’s just say Texas is different. LoL. We do have year round riding weather though, at least compared to Finnish temperatures. There’s beautiful places here, but Finnish nature and roads are hard to beat.
Yes exactly! Savusauna is the best! Just need a saunalenkki, Turunsinappi and good Finnish beer!Like this one? Visiting here after long riding day. Lake being very close. Simple things are the best?

I prefer those small roads. They used to be the old main connecting roads before the newer highways were built. Always the best scenery for travel and much more pleasant than the new roads with lots of cars. Wise choice on a motorcycle. At first Finland is a pretty rarely populated country (just 5,5million people, density 16,4/km2). Same in USA? 333 287 557 and 33,6/km2 ... and here we have the whole country incl. Alaska etc.
Secondly those are exactly small roads (which I like to ride much more). Not the mainroads/motor ways which most cars opposite uses.
Totally agree.Think that style/type of road is what most motorcyclists live for. We have a fairly low population density here as well. Lots of great roads without the hugh crowds.
