So what have you done with your phone today?

Well if you've got an iPhone, best you be careful. Lady in China was charging her iPhone and talking on it at the same time and was electrocuted. This just came out over Reuters today. Apple are 'assisting the investigation in every way'. Guess it's now to find out whether it was a genuine iPhone or a Fong Kong knock off and whether the electrical outlet she was using was not faulty. Either way, bad publicity for iPhone.

Both of the boys have Galaxy's and I don't care for them. I have an old iPhone and the wife has a new one and prefer them over the phones my sons prefer. I guess it comes down to what you are used to.

Correction: the lady is Chinese but was in Singapore when this happened.

I'm not an Apple anything fan. My family all have Samsungs and love them. Me? I'm just sticking with my old Blackberry. At least I know how it works :y2:

I now have my WhatsApp Messenger loaded. We have 5 of us in a talkgroup: avion, myself, our new member Erik721, avion's brother John (Fireblade) & Morné (Speed Triple).

I have also loaded the My Tracks app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.maps.mytracks&hl=en

It plots the route you've done on a map, displays the elevation and speed of the trip against distance travelled and summarises the total distance, average & maximum speeds of the journey. Simple to use and very useful & entertaining. (Just don't show it to the LEO when he stops you for speeding :y2:). The graphs can be downloaded in to MS Excel.

I wish I'd had this app installed when I was riding round the TT course last August. Then I could prove to you all that I hit 34mph going down Bray Hill........:y6:
