Well it looks like I don't have a Vimeo account anymore so its back with YouTube :y7:

Dear TriumphTalk:

Your account has been removed by the Vimeo Staff for violating the Rules of Vimeo.com
Reason: Uploading videos from TV, Movies, or something you ripped from the Web.

We hope you find a video host more suited to your needs. If you believe this was an error, please reply to this email in a civil manner with your reasoning ("I see other people do it" is not a valid reason).
Regards,
Vimeo

My Vimeo account is attached to my "otherwise" email and I used Other as my first name and Wise as my second name.

I have just been doing some research on this and it seems they are famous for doing this even to paid accounts. Looks like if the video is not 100% made by you then they will close your account. That does not leave much room open for anything really. All the bike videos with music in them would also fall under the hammer then :y2: So looking at this I don't have much use for them as I have never complied a video from start to finish of all original material by myself and I don't think I ever will be able to :y10:

So if you say "I have never complied a video from start to finish of all original material by myself" and they "if the video is not 100% made by you then they will close your account" they could have closed your account for any or all of your stored videos. That's a bit tough especially is you have given them $$$.

Yes basically they could have even the ones I made myself like this one as it is not 100% all mine as you can hear BGRIN

I've had a few videos removed from youtube for using copyright music in them.
First they send you an email stating that they are checking on the legality of the music in use.
Then if it is indeed copyrighted, they remove the video. Not your account.

I've started using music in the public domain for this, but it is hard to find something that fits the vid as it's stuff you haven't heard before.

This is true EXCEPT that if you do it over and over again, they (YouTube) will eventually close your account.
