The site seems to have lost interest for most Triumph riders. Wonder how many Thruxton 1200's sold in the last two years? I do see Triumph is incorporating the 1200 Thruxton motor into a more conventional Bonneville model (smart move). I love the bike especially with the additional very street friendly HP & TQ I got from fairly simple mods. I don't see many 1200 Triumphs where I live and even fewer 1200 Thruxtons which adds to the uniqueness of the bike. It's a keeper for me.

This has now become a catch 22 situation as I said we have plenty of new registrations each day. However it seems once the new members browses around and notice the forum is not that active they leave. So the only way to fix this would be for the few regular members here to really start posting up a storm and replying to thread posted. When a new member post up something and gets only one reply they loose interest in sticking around.

If anyone has any ideas on other way to fix this situation please post them up here BBEER

This has been an ongoing problem - lack of daily postings.
As Dave said, we get new registrations every day (sometimes several) with practically no increase in forum traffic at all.
The members can't sit back and wait for something to show up, they have to have input too.
It can't fall to just a few to spice up the forum every day. We need input. This is a wide ranging forum, and except for religion and politics, we can talk about just about anything - motorcycle related or not.
We like stories, pictures and just about anything of interest.
If there is no reply or input to the post I suppose many may just give up and feel it's not worth the effort.
I know of one very valuable member who went elsewhere because he was a prolific poster with little response to his efforts. He just got tired of putting in the effort with little appreciation back.

Understood I will try and contribute more. :)

Anything of general interest is appreciated. You don't need to be an author to tell a story or describe something.
We're not here to correct grammar or spelling BGRIN

Stories about road rides and trips, mishaps, near misses, restorations, trouble shooting, riding gear, movies, music, photography, your home town and area, travel - the list is endless and everyone has stories to tell - and above all we love pictures. So many of you live in lovely parts of the world that most of us will never visit so show it off.
You can't live life without having had many experiences and not all necessarily on a bike.
But as we all know, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

It's winter time for me so no riding until next April.
I've been a member here for 12 years and have already told most of my stories so I'm guilty of being a weak contributor these days.
That said, I suppose for new members they would be new to them.

did someone say TuTu?
