Noticed you live in Pennsylvania....
Side mounted tail lights and license plates are illegal in PA (although I know you see people getting away with it).
Inspection rules say that you must be able to see the tail light, brake light, and license plate from all angles in the rear.
J & P Cycle sells them if you want to chance it.
