Our beautiful Cabot Trail in the winter
The Trail winds up to the top of the highlands and it can be brutal up there in the winter.
This happened this week.

The transformation that takes place your side is mind blowing for us lot that don't know what winter is.

That only happens up in the highlands and not down closer to sea level.
The difference in elevation certainly makes a huge difference, but I was a bit stunned to see it happen this early.

Come July/August this is a stunning place to ride.

It certainly is! Have done it once, and will be doing it again, soon.

I've been over the trail about 14 times and make a 2-3 day of it.
The joy of retirement is that I don't have to hurry and can take side trips if I wish.
It's on my list for next summer.
