Watching TV last evening there was a program about new motorcycle products.
Although I can't find any link to this product, it was called Speed Shield.
The display showed two motorcycle windscreens that had a motorized "wiper" on them which had steel wool rubbing across the screen back and forth.
One screen was a standard one and the other was the Speed Shield. The standard screen was getting scratched up badly while the Speed Shield looked like new.
The guy from the company said they make them for Metric and American bikes of most makes and models. Evidently, it has some type of coating on it that won't scratch allowing you to clean your screen with things like paper towels that used to scratch the standard screens.
