Well, maybe not real busy but I did get some time in the shop and built two Cigar Box Diddley Bows. I figured I'd get Kyle something musical that I built. Since I was making one for Kyle, might as well make one for Alex too. I did cheat a little and built them with a guitar string instead of using wire from floor brooms.

Here's the results:

Her's will be here between 1/7/16 and 1/15/16.

While we were waiting to see if the dealer could work a trade with their other Houston location which happened to have the exact car we were looking for, we went to see Alex's new apartment.

The view from the complex's parking garage. . .

This little beauty was sitting four spaces over from my truck.

Today I've been keeping busy with the grandson while Alex is trying to find where he's going to mount the LED light bars on his 4Runner. I think the grandson is getting tired of chasing his tennis ball.

Alex's office is in there somewhere. I think it is actually blocked from view, I can't recognize it from this angle. I think he shows up there for a week or three each year, most of his time is spent at his clients locations.

Nice Subaru. Wifey is spoiled. They are good cars. Have to keep an eye on the oil consumption. Some are affected, some aren't. Class action lawsuit in progress about this if you were not already aware.
We drove one last week before deciding and buying a Nissan Rogue. (Wife won). I really liked the Outback and Forester.

I've heard that some do use a bit of oil but hadn't heard about the class action lawsuit.

Alex took her out driving one day. They hit every dealer in the area that had a car she was interested in and after driving three or four others decided the Outback was the one for her. Well that is until she saw a red Forrester on the showroom floor when we walked in. But after seeing the smaller rear deck she went back to the Outback.
