sad news ( the daykins , team past it )

i have some very sad news of robin and annette daykin of team past it ! .... my freinds who race the formular 2 sidecar and raced the TT last 2 years.
robin 75 is in hospital and has been diagnosed with throut cancer and only has a few weeks left , he has decided to stay in hospital till the end , so he wont be a burden on his family .
and sends out many thanks to all who suported him and annette in there racing , i have sent him TT's best wishes .

I can only hope that the medical staff ensure that he is as comfortable as possible.

Very sorry to hear the sad news.
Here is a guy who is my age, full of life, loves bikes and chomping at the bit to go out and enjoy life.
It's not fair, but as we all know, life isn't fair sometimes and bad things happen to good people.

as sad as this is !... i find it very difficult to be to down hearted as when i think of him it always brings a smile to my face .
here is a man that went out and lived out his dreams , not many of us can say that !!!
he is also in high spirits and ready for what comes next , as he put it ... I HAD A BIG LIST OF THINGS TO DO WHEN I RETIRED , AND I HAVE DONE THEM ALL ...IM WITH MY LOT.
