Ruby - WHAT a weekend

First the Bull's totally anihilated the Chiefs in the final of the Super 14 - 61:17!!!!! Woohoo! Then SA won the 7's tournament making SA the first and only nation to hold the Rugby World Cup and the 7's trophy at the same time. Then there was the Lions match and to top it all GP in Mugello and SBK in Utah!!! What a weekend! But freezing here in Jhb with a daytime high of 14c so we all over-imbibed to keep warm and hunkered down for the sport. Great weekend. Still damn freezing here though! :y115: :y115: :y18:

And add to that the Orlando Magic (NBA-basketball) defeated Cleveland to win the Eastern Conference Championship. The Magic will play the Lakers for the NBA title. I am not a big fan of professional basketball; but it is great to see the home town victorious - especially since most of the sports writers and even the NBA hierarchy were pulling for Cleveland.

You forgot to mention that my sons Rugby team won their match against their arch rivals :y18:This also meant I spent the weekend in White River .
