Just a word of caution about this lift should anyone decide to built it.
It's only made of wood, and while it works well, it was not intended to lift a heavy bike.
I built it to work only on my vintage BSA and Triumph. The dry weight of the Triumph is 337 pounds and the BSA is 320 pounds.
Whatever you do, don't try to lift a heavier bike or the wood will surely fail.
