Just got back from a ride around the Lincolnshire wolds, brilliant weather today, so why not. Here are a few pictures.
I'll give the old girl a clean up over the next few days as the weather's on the turn for next week

Just what I envision the English countryside to look like. Interesting geology too.
Great pics TUP
You've been to Canada so you know how heavily forested our country is.

I know that we're only a small island compared to Canada, but when the sun shines, we really do have some fantastic countryside to enjoy. I was only out for about an hour or so, but the grin on my chops and the enjoyment of being on my Triumph in such perfect weather, and glorious surroundings is just truly brilliant. It's day's like this that you never want to end.

I loved the views of the wide open and cleared farm land to the horizon and beyond.
Some of our farm lands look like that too, but we also have heavily forested areas by the millions of acres.
That's the point I was making.

A few years ago when we flew into Heathrow I could look down on all the green fields and open farm land.
It was a beautiful sight in the bright sunshine.
It was late December and everything was still green while back at home the land was frozen solid and mostly covered in snow.

When I was in Ontario I went up north to Algonquin national park, as you say trees everywhere, but it sure was beautiful. I hope to do a lot more of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire next summer with my mate Chris on his Thruxton, and post more interesting pictures for all to enjoy.
I still think your log cabin by the lake, takes some beating.

At this moment in time, I don't know what they plan to plant there, it's the same around us at the moment, all the fields have been ploughed. They tend to do a lot of rape seed here so that might be the plan. The next time I go that way and see something growing I'll try and find out what it is.
