Not sure I'll be ready by then, but a visit to SA would not be complete without a dip in the Indian Ocean. Coastal areas really do it for me. Love that salt air. Been in it forever. Most of our state is coastal.

Feb March is great but can get really hot. Mid April through May is fantastic. The rains are drying up in our area and building in the coastal area getting ready for the winter downpours. My favourite time of year is May/June - chilly in the mornings and evenings but magnificent warm days. The other good time is Aug/Sept. Clear, cloudless blue skies, warm, but cold mornings and nights.

Hotels???? I'm sure you'll have no end of offers of accommodation. Have a look at areas in SA that would be of interest to you - we can suggest loads - and we'll help with a route planner, accommodation etc. Penny & BignDaft are our "master route planners". Keep us posted.
