Rear Luggage Rack And Hand Grab 2012 865

Hi All,
I am now the proud owner of my first Bonny 2012 865 and loving it. She came fitted with what looks like the tail tidy and lights etc off a Street Twin and i'd love to fit a luggage rack and hand grab which is curved to fit the curvature of the seat instead of a square handle. BUT I've hit a brick wall! suppliers are saying the newer units don't fit the air cooled bikes and only make for the newer water cooled bikes which are different? Does anyone know if these newer units can be easily modified or fit adapted brackets to make them fit?

I am running into the same problem with my 2013 865 SE that I got last October. Dealer tells me that Triumph is no longer making accessories for anything before the liquid cooled models. I have found a very interesting custom one at Motogateway.com, but they are not yet back to full capacity after COVID. Still waiting on word if they will be making any more.

I have a couple of leads going. I am looking for the version with the padded backrest on it. I am still waiting on the Motogateway guy to give me a price to make just the steel portion, then I find a pad and make it work. I will let you know if anything pans out.

Mark, I scored yesterday! Triumph of Detroit had a new dresser bar and high backrest kit still in the box! I asked if they had the luggage rack version you are looking for but they did not. I also sent an online parts request to Florida Motorsports of Tallahassee, FL, and Woodstock Triumph, IL, but have not heard back from them. You may want to contact them. The image you sent looks like the one for the 16+ model bikes. The dresser bars that connect at the shock heads are dead straight, and don't kink in like that image.
