We don't have many local radio station in our area and lately I am finding that I am really not enjoying any of them. When I am at home it is not a problem as I have a huge selection via the internet, however when riding around in my car it is an issue.

So over the last few days I have been sorting out my music collection on the PC and now have placed around 8 thousand songs onto a flash drive for the car. So I am now sure I should have enough sound in the car to last me a few days BGRIN

I have a lot of radio stations to choose from, but there is only one I listen to in the car. It plays a cross section of popular music including many golden oldies.
We had an oldies-only station for many years, but it went off the air and wasn't replaced with anything for several years until this station I mentioned came on the air.
I listen to the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation - national radio) for news when I'm home, but I also have Sirius radio at home and can get all the older music and most anything I choose.

I don't like the stations around me, same songs at the same time day after day. It's quiet in my truck and when I get home I have the Ipod and headphones

I like a lot of the oldies from '50s to the '80s. We have a couple of stations around that play that mixture and that's what I usually listen to or a CD. Sirius XM when it's free is nice.

If mobile data was not so expensive I would setup a streaming connection in my car. There is basically an unlimited selection to select via the internet. I really enjoy listening to radio stations from other counties.
