This fellow is 98 year-old, Wyman "Bun" Betts, who lives about 90 minutes north of me in the border town of Amherst - the border between the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. He may be the oldest motorcycle rider in North America.
Bun rides a 2003 Goldwing all over his native county of Cumberland and occasionally takes a ride to our island province of Prince Edward Island which is now linked by the 12.9 km long Confederation Bridge.
This dedicated rider will be 99 this summer and plans to lead the annual "Biker Bash" motorcycle parade in Amherst again this year.
I thought I was doing pretty well at my age, but I have a long way to go to match this fellow.

That's pretty cool alright.
Impressive for a guy that age to still be muscling around a big bike like a Goldwing.
That's the first thing I thought, a big bike for him to be wrestling around at his age, but he obviously is still able to do it.

I read a mention of Mr. Betts in a letter in Cycle Canada magazine a few years ago. It was either a family member or a friend who had written to the magazine in relation to another matter, but also gave a brief history of this ageless rider.
I was impressed then and even more so now. What a guy!
