In Pennsylvania if you cause a death while DUI it's vehicular homicide regardless of if it's your passenger or someone outside your car or any motor vehicle.

You can even get a DUI riding a horse or driving a carriage or buggy.

Same in Florida on both counts. You add riding a bicycle and driving a tractor to that list.

That is funny; but I'm sure it wasn't funny to him.

He would have lost his job had he not been able to take 3 mths accumulated leave.
Post Office = no license, no job.

BTW, all DUI convictions result in a minimum of 3 mths loss of license.
My son went down on a low level charge, his legal correctly claimed "section 10" and was successful, no conviction recorded as he was involved in a medical emergency. This doesn't happen very often.

In Florida, if you arrested for DUI on a bicycle or horse (which rarely happens; but it has happened) it does not affect your driver's license because you were not operating a motor vehicle. It is basically a drunk and disorderly charge as well as reckless endangerment.

Thats why when I drink I ride one of these............
