Well here it is mostly due to no maintenance, the radio reported that the two main power cables feeding the city have shorted out. No estimated time to repair can be given. Lucky it is nearly time to go to bed

Well the power came back on about 2 hours later, I know as I had to get up and turn off all the lights
Yeah, turn those lights off fast!! You don't want to strain the power grid
Please don't strain the grid. And if that contract would be finalised, I could bring in the specialists to ensure the lights stay on! 
Escom (our power supply company) must be the only business in the world that advertise to please not use their product 
Dave, I lived at the very end of the line in the woods and I did not have nearly the outages that you have.
Well without doing maintenance I don't know what these guys expect
