ST. LOUIS -- Pittsburgh is the proud home city of the Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year.
The St. Louis-based American Mustache Institute announced Monday that this year's winner is Pittsburgh native Adam Paul Causgrove. The University of Pittsburgh employee won in a landslide, garnering about two-thirds of 1.3 million votes cast in the online competition.
Causgrove beat out such luminaries as NBC TV star Nick Offerman and St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher. The award was presented at the annual "Stache Bash" event, this year held in Mesa, Ariz.
