Today about 5 miles from my house Jim Johnson was buried. His body was flown from Hawaii to Jackson, Ms then a motorcade transported him to Wesson, Ms his home town. He was killed when a torpedo hit the USS Oklahoma in Pearl Harbor 75 years ago. I was blessed to stand beside Ms Hwy 51, as were many many others as his motorcade made its way to his final resting place near a church in Wesson. I could not help but think about my father and the Hell he and his generation went through during WWII something he never talked about. Jim was buried in a unmarked grave in Hawaii as are other service men from that attack, thanks to new DNA advancements many of them are able to be identified. I hope that every one of them can be brought home like Jim.
