Virginia Boy Impaled Through Neck by Bamboo Spear Survives!
A game of ninjas went horribly wrong for Dez Heal, 13, of Lynchburg, VA recently.
Heal had stuck the bamboo stick down the back of his shirt, but when he jumped, it maneuvered to the front, and when he hit the ground, the stick went through his neck:
Heal ran into the house where his father calmly called 911. At the hospital, it was determined the spear didn’t hit anything vital, and it was eventually taken out.
