I have never heard of some of those 
Locally they weren't one hit wonders but didn't have much a following outside of Houston. . . well that is until the band was reformed as "That Little Ol' Band From Texas" better known as ZZ Top
This song was actually banned from the airways in New York
Oh well that would be why I never heard them before
