It originates in Siberia . The Russians send it over Canada because that is the shortest route to USA and it stays a lot colder than sending it over Europe and the Atlantic. Some would point out also that the Ruskies don’t want to upset the Europeans either since they have everything the Russians need and don’t have like democracy , the highest living standards on the planet , wonderful health care , longest vacations , drink the most wine , party the the most , have good hockey and bikini teams . US NEWS Quality of Life ratings list 7 European countries in the top ten . Only one from America , Canada in first place .

Just be Thankful they didn't get hit with something like this;

I lived in Labrador City for 10 years when I was a young lad. We moved out of there the year before this gem hit. We did get our fair share of blizzards and snow storms. They wouldn't close schools up there until the mercury hit -67 C for grade 8 and below and -83 C for grade 9 and up.

I remember 1977 in Minnesota (I was in college there). The temps were -20-something degrees Fahrenheit (-29 C), and the wind chill made it -60 something (-51 C). People were advised to stay indoors. -100 C converts to -148 F. ICEBERG!!!

I can't even imagine those temps!

Take it back, take it back, it was 27F here last night, supposed to be colder than that tonight, can't take it much longer!
Hear! Hear! It is 43F here now and will get down to 35F at sun up. Brrrr!

ROFLMAOYes, that is for South Florida, Miami and points south. They actually have posted a "Falling Iguana Warning". Iguanas do not tolerate cold weather. It is too cold for them in Central and north Florida. TUP
