Hello all, I am 65 with about a million K under my belt, last 2 bikes had 470, 000 k alone
I have sat on this bike numerous times at bike shows and it was always the same, "love this thing", finally I bought it, could have bought a 2020 with 500 k and saved $2000 but wanted the new aluminum rims, Brembos, OEM factory heated grips, love the cruise control
I bought it for several reasons, low seat height , great sound, light weight, decent handling( do not like the stock tires, pilot road 5 soon) , something different
I have to say that Triumph should come clean regarding the total story on it's weight loss program , as they eliminated the center stand, grab rail and radiator guard.....stock triumph accessories are way too expensive
I bought Motone luggage rails, Renntec engine guards and sports rack , Tec center stand, and the Give universal air stream fairing which is fantastic, as I have the same one on my 2018 Vstrom 1000, also installed a scot oiler
I sold 6 bikes moved to Vancouver Island bought the Vstrom(which is sold to my friend), now the T120
I do all my own tires, oil changes, brakes etc .....I put 22 back and 9 front tires on my 06 ST1300 alone(220,000k)
I have done full frame off restoration on a 80 CBX, big bore kits on both 78 Yamaha XS1100, 78 Suzuki GS 1000
I could bather on but am very happy with the bike, as my days of 500/600 mile days are done
nice to be on the team
