Congratulations and welcome to the Bonneville family. I think you will be well pleased with the EFI. If you are going to do a lot of two up riding, I suggest the high sissy bar and one of Pooksta's lambskin seat covers. Those seat covers are wonderful. Enjoy that new ride!!!

Congratulations on the new ride. I'll have my Thunderbird 1600 by august at the latest (if everything goes according to plan).

Haven't had a Bonnie since the 60's. Sweet ride. EFI must make it even better. Good Luck!

I said, (So the plan for today is a short run to get the tyres cleaned up and the rings bedded in).
It didn't happen, shorter winter days and light rain all day long. My new toy is sitting in the garage with the 3.5 re-delivery km on the clock. Will try again tomorrow.

I did get a ride in today though, a mate had his Rocket 3 in for some serious warranty work, he was unavailable, so I was asked to pick it up from the dealer and deliver it to his house. Heavy rain at the time, Rocket 3 and roundabouts in town, not a good mix. Made it without a get off, am looking forward to another ride on the R3 when the rain stops and my mate gets back from the snow.

You asked for photos, lets try.
If this works it's the new baby in the garage this morning with it's 5 friends.

Good, that worked.

This is later in the day after I asked Sue to come around and pick up my old, her new, Street triple.

I was sorry to let it go, but I figure if I have made a mistake they are still being produced. It will cost money but it can be replaced.

After Sue left on my old bike, I had time for my first ride on the new toy. This was taken at a mates place while taking a beer stop, it is a full 10km from home. It had 13.5 km on the clock and I had to stop for beer, have I got a problem?

Yes I did, and I will remind her in a day or two is she doesn't turn up.
Her husband is a Buell fan and a regular contributor to a Buell forum, so it's her turn to take over the computer.
