Morning All! Just joined up here as I just picked up a 2014 Scrambler in Matte Blue w/1700mi on it and am looking to learn as much as possible about the bike and start building it up!

Couple of Questions:
  1. Any "Must Have" mods that greatly improve ride quality or the experience that I should know about?
  2. Any big items to be aware of with maintenance, issues, etc. that I should keep an eye on?
Goals:
Function:
I'd like to make this more towards the off-road style of riding, already have identified that the rear brake caliper relocation kit, higher front fender bracket, TKC-80's and maaaaaybe new suspension would be the first steps (except maybe suspension for cost). Any other ideas/thoughts on making this Scrambler...scramble?

Form:
Looking to first things first get a smoother looking indicator set up - currently has the large chromatic rear tail/indicator - researching something cleaner less/chromey.
Seats - have a picky low back for distance rides so need to find a nice comfy seat that still fits with the nice aesthetic - was checking out Omega Racer as they have some really nice looking seats, unsure of comfort.
Would love to build it to be more like the (and stop me if you've heard this before) Steve McQueen style - somewhere between the utilitarian and hipster route.

Thanks to all in advance, and happy to be a part of the forum!

Past Bikes:
2018 Triumph Street Triple
2015 Yamaha FZ-07

That Matte Blue makes for a stunning looking Scrambler. My local dealer had one, and I could only drool. WOW

They knocked it outta the park with this color. I'll have to post some better pictures but I tossed the bike in a truck for a 4 hr drive and then stuck it in the garage to charge up the battery and haven't taken any pics yet....sinful
