Hi, I'm Hal from Beijing, China.

I want to buy 2019 Street Twin as my first bike, and if that so, it will also be the first Street Twin in China. Triumph has been into China market last winter, and it will sell 2019 Street Twin this summer. I'm trying to find more information and reviews about 2019 Street Twin, so I find this forum.

There is a little concern about engine heat. I found riders (especially from India ) said 2016 ST was pretty hot when riders stopped in traffic. I wonder how about engine heat on 2019 ST. Because I am in Beijing, the temperature in summer can be around 100 F and traffic is always bad. I have tried Ducati Scrambler 800, and yeah Ducati is really hot. Hope I can find some discussions about this here.

BTW, keep healthy and enjoy riding.

Welcome to TT from Florida USA. I can't comment on the the heat from the Street Twin. But I can certainly say that my Tiger 800XC can get really hot on my legs in city traffic in the summer. Eliminating the catalytic converter reduces that heat.

Welcome to TT from Eastern Canada.
The Street Twin has not changed since it's introduction as far as I know, so if it was a hot ride in 2016, it will be a hot ride in the 2019 as well. Being liquid and somewhat air cooled, once the cooling fan comes on you get the radiator heat and the heat off the engine blowing back on you.
