Mabel bought herself a new ride yesterday. It is a 2019 Can Am Ryker 600 Ace. She got a really good deal on it. A guy bought it, put 525 miles/845 kilometers on it, had the initial service done, and traded it for a 900 Ryker Rally. Mabel saved $1300 off of the price of a new one. She did not like her side car rig because it was too difficult for her to back up out of a parking space. She also does not like shifting. That makes the Stryker ideal for her: it is stable. has an automatic transmission and has a reverse. Apparently, the Strykers are aimed at new riders and riders wanting simplicity. It is fun to drive - after I remember not to counter steer! You can really push it in the corners and curves. It is not a bike for me; but I can certainly appreciate its appeal.

Here is a good review on the Can Am Ryker from Cycle World.

Glad she likes it.
I haven't been following the CanAm 3 wheeled line up myself, and that's a different looking rig.
The all black look gives it a sinister look.
Darth Vader, your ride is here;)
Get out and have fun.

Thanks, all. I really did not follow Can Am's three wheel lineup. We went to the Honda dealer for something else and Mabel spied the Can Am Rykers. I did not even know there was a Ryker. I am just glad she found somwthing that will enable us to ride together. Her Honda Big Ruckus is just not good enough for distance riding.
