Hello everyone!! I have been riding on two wheels since I was 5 and on the street since I was 14. My current bike is the 2023 Triumph Speed Twin 1200. I loving every second of this bike. This platform is perfect for the riding I do and lends itself to making it your own.

Safe riding to you all!!!

Thanks! Added a couple pics to my first post from a ride this morning on the trusty Speedy!!

Nice. We appear to have somewhat similar aftermarket tastes.

Me = 2019. Got a bit of a deal on her brand new in late ‘20 as the 21’s were coming out. Dealer really needed to unload the inventory. Triumph had just pulled their franchise for performance reasons. So I managed to beat them up for a cool grand. Nearly 3 years later and she still puts a smile on my face every time I take her out. There’s just nothing really bad you can say about these machines.

I’ve been thinking about going to some circular bar-ends like your’s but I’m really on the fence. What can you say about them?

The only real thing that drew a big of jealousy out of me on the 2nd generation with the ‘22 was the suspension, but I eventually treated myself to Ohlins, front and rear so I scratched that itched. I just went with cartridges up front. The overall front fork/wheel assembly on the 22-23’s is certainly sharper looking than the 1st gen.

They provide a smaller clean look to the bike. If you really on your mirrors heavily I wouldn't necessarily suggest them. I only use my mirrors for a quick glance back to check for approaching vehicles or a riding mate behind me. I turn my head for lane changes.

I'm pretty much on par with you. I'm not altogether trusting of my mirrors. I may throw down on a pair for sh-ts and gigs if I can find a set with slighly larger glass diameter. I can alway switch back and sell the aftermarket set. I'm not altogether on board with the "hipster" vibe that those round bar-ends give the bike but I probably just need to get over my ego(I HATED hipsters). I really need to get off my dead a$s and flip the stock ones beneath the grips to see how that works too. For some reason I can't get the factory glass oriented quite "perfect" in their current placement and there's always a blind spot at my 4 and 8 o'clock.
